Maaselän Kone oy Maaselän Kone, founded in 1983, is a metal industry enterprise operating in Haapajärvi, Northern Pohjanmaa . Throughout our history we have concentrated on the production and marketing of forest and agricultural machinery of the highest quality.

Our idea is to design, produce and market technically simple machines which are reliable and easy to use, thereby facilitating heavy agricultural and forestry duties.

Marketing in Finland
Product marketing is exclusively carried out by Kesko, www.maatalouskesko.fi. All the products are available at the nearest K-Maatalouskauppa store or from one of our co-operational enterprises.

Marketing in export and import
We have country-specific importers in our main markets and today our products are exported to over 30 countries. A list of our most important importers and their contact addresses can be found on our web site.

The modern 19,400m2 size premises at Maaselän Kone, completed in 1999, 2000 and 2003, are located in the centre of Haapajärvi. The company employs some 150 employees, working in two shifts.

We operate with up-to-date machinery. We have a computerised planning system, a plasma cutter, a complete computer-operated engine room, welding robots and other machinery that, together with well-trained personnel, ensures high quality production. In 2006, a new painting workshop will be opened. In addition to the above, a custom-made production control system which enables us to boost the operation of the process is at our disposal.

Maintenance and spare parts
Fast maintenance and a rapid delivery of spare parts are an essential part of our services. For domestic markets, our central location in Finland in the heart of Finland's cattle country allows us to deliver spare parts or perform maintenance on the very day they were requested.
